Lithium-ion batteries 

The battery is equipped with one or more spacers that are glued under the battery using the supplied adhesive strip to ensure the battery fits exactly into the battery box.
 
Waterproof (W)
The battery is completely waterproof and will not be damaged if the motorcycle is cleaned with a high pressure.
 
Indicator (I)
All batteries are equipped with a battery status indicator.
Simply press the test button. The red digital display shows the current voltage.
The battery must be charged at the latest when the voltage drops below 12.9 V.

Replacing a standard lead-acid battery with a JMT lithium-ion battery can save up to 5 kg of weight without significant effort.

The following advantages speak in favor of JMT lithium-ion batteries:
- approximately 1/3 the weight of a comparable lead-acid battery
- unbeatable cost/weight saving ratio
- Can be installed in any position, as it contains no acid
- Contains no heavy metals
- balanced discharge/charge of all cells by balancer
- Fast charging with high charging current possible
- very low self-discharge (max. 5% per month)
- still performs well even at high temperatures up to 60°C
- reliable technology and long service life

Due to their specific properties, lead-acid batteries can only utilize 30% of their capacity, while lithium-ion batteries can utilize almost 100% of their capacity.

For this reason, the lithium versions of JMT batteries require only 1/3 of the capacity of a comparable lead-acid battery for the same starting power.
Furthermore, a built-in processor ("balancer") ensures a uniform charge level for all cells.
The dimensions of the lithium-ion batteries correspond to the dimensions of the original lead-acid batteries with the help of adapters.
The connections are also identical, which is why the battery can be replaced in a few minutes without any further adjustments.

Please note that only suitable chargers may be used for charging.  To charge the battery, we recommend an Optimate charger, specifically designed for lithium-ion batteries.

Please refer to the technical data below for the maximum recommended charging currents.
The use of a charger with a voltage of more than 14.9 V to charge a deeply discharged battery with less than 9.6 V is not permitted.

The manufacturer guarantees sufficient starting capacity down to -5 degrees Celsius.

Technology
JMT lithium-ion batteries use iron phosphate (LiFePO4) as the cathode material and employ the lithium polymer process in their manufacture.
This means they cannot catch fire or explode during normal operation.
The technology and manufacturing process ensure the highest safety standards for lithium batteries.

Since our shipments may contain batteries and rechargeable batteries, we are required by the German Battery Act (BattG) to inform you of the following: Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. You are legally obligated to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries. Used batteries may contain hazardous substances that can harm the environment or your health if not stored or disposed of properly. However, batteries also contain valuable raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese, or nickel and can be recycled. After use, you can either return the batteries to us or dispose of them free of charge at a nearby collection point (e.g., at retailers, municipal collection points, or our warehouse). Returns to retail outlets are limited to typical household quantities and to used batteries of the same type that the retailer currently sells or has previously sold as new batteries.

The symbol of a crossed-out trash can means that you must not dispose of batteries and rechargeable batteries in your household waste. Below this symbol, you will find the following additional symbols with the following meanings:
